Dear Families,

 

If you are looking for high-quality early childhood education and care for your preschooler, with a strong focus on school readiness, then Wee Lad and Lassie is for you!

 

Our students reap the benefits of our 46 years of longevity in the Arnold/Severna Park community as well as my 30 years of experience and doctoral degree in education. We are pleased to be among the few programs to participate in both MSDE Early Childhood Accreditation and the MD EXCELS quality rating system. We proudly hold the highest possible (Level 5) rating!

 

We emphasize school readiness, including both social and academic skills, recognizing a solid foundation of skills prepares children for school success. We believe warm, caring, and respectful interactions between adults and children are the best way to teach young children and to develop a lifelong love of learning. Our small non-corporate preschool was created to meet the needs of families who prefer a personal approach, where meeting the needs of individual children is our delight!
