January & February 

At both Wee Lad and Lassie (Arnold) and A Child's Garden (Severna Park), registration for the school year starts for current families in late January To ensure your choice of schedules, we suggest you register early. Registration opens for new families in early February.

Open House

Both Wee Lad and Lassie and A Child's Garden will hold Open Houses periodically throughout the year.  Please contact us to set up a time to observe our program. We always welcome visitors, anytime of the year.  

Studies show the best way to evaluate an education program is to observe it in action, meet the teaching staff and view the learning resources. Please contact us to schedule a visit.

Why is a preschool EXCELS rating important?

Wee Lad & Lassie and A Child's Garden holds the highest Maryland EXCELS rating and is one of the only Early Childhood Programs in Anne Arundel County to receive the 5 Check rating. Watch this video to better understand why you should include the EXCELS rating in your preschool selection criteria.

 Pre-K and Pre-K 3's     Expansion Grant

Wee Lad & Lassie and A Child's Garden have received a Maryland State Department of Education Pre-K Expansion Grant. This means children whose families meet eligibility requirements may enroll in our Pre-K/Pre-K 3's program tuition free for the school year. Please contact the office for further information if you or someone you know is interested.
